Barefoot Resort & Golf Welcomes Robin McCord As Lifestyles Director

June 12, 2004 -- Barefoot Resort & Golf in North Myrtle Beach has named Robin McCord lifestyles director. McCord brings more than 18 years experience in sales and marketing to her position. Prior to joining Barefoot Resort, McCord served as sales and marketing director for the MCI Heritage Classic, a PGA TOUR event headquartered in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

In her position as lifestyle director, McCord is responsible for organizing and overseeing all social activities for Barefoot Resort residents. Additionally, she designs and produces the resort’s monthly newsletter and maintains all elements of the community’s web site.

A native of Charleston, S.C., McCord is a 1986 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She and her husband, David, live in Myrtle Beach with their two children, Brittany and Cory.
